Happy New Year! 

Welcome back staff, faculty, and students as we begin the Winter 2025 term and launch Wave 2 of the new LMS transition. This term, roughly a quarter of courses will be using Canvas with the remainder still being hosted and supported on eClass. The new LMS Project website has all the overall transition details including the regular updates about the project.

Canvas resources for instructors: As more new instructors begin to explore Canvas this term, we recommend the following guides to help ensure a smooth transition:

New exam security tools in Winter 2025: Respondus LockDown browser + Monitor is now available in Canvas. Smart Exam Monitor (SEM) version 2 has also been released as an open beta for both eClass in Canvas this term.
