Adding SCORM Activities

This article explains how instructors can upload SCORM activities into eClass courses. SCORM activities are most often interactive learning objects authored using an external source which are then saved as zip file for upload into a SCORM activity. Their uses vary, ranging from presentations to assessment tools which can be integrated into a course's gradebook.

To add a SCORM activity:

  1. Click on the SCORM Package icon:

  2. Give the activity a name (required field).
  3. Upload your .zip or .xml SCORM file into the Package section.
  4. If the SCORM will be used for grading purposes, adjust the settings under the categories Availability, Grade, and Attempts management
  5. New in June 2019, Under the 'Force new attempt' option within the 'Compatibility settings', you can choose as options:
    • No
    • When previous attempt completed, passed or failed
    • Always
  6. Click Save
