Please be aware that there will be an eClass maintenance outage on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025 12:00AM - 2:00AM. This outage is required to perform a minor version upgrade to eClass and release bug fixes.

Welcome back staff, faculty, and students as we begin the Winter 2025 term and launch Wave 2 of the new LMS transition. This term, roughly a quarter of courses will be using Canvas with the remainder still being hosted and supported on eClass. There will be a scheduled maintenance outage for eClass on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00AM - 11:59PM (24 hours). This outage is required to perform infrastructure changes for eClass.

Attention eClass and Canvas users,

The first round of the K16 Mass Migration project is nearing completion with the vendor reporting that only ~25 courses remain from the over 10,000 that formed part of the first mass migration run.

These remaining courses are still in progress and are being handled on a case-by-case basis with most issues stemming from the course question banks on the eClass side. Direct communications have been sent to the affected instructors.

If you are an instructor and do

On Sunday December 8th at 12:30AM, an unanticipated system issue occurred that affected the assignment grader in eClass. The issue was identified and fixed on Wednesday December 11th at 10:00AM, but any assignments submitted or graded during that time window will display blank pages in the instructor grading panel.

eClass support has a manual process to restore any missing submissions so that they will work again in the grading interface. Unfortunately, the process can take up to a business day
