Obtaining the Respondus Quiz Authoring Tool

Important note: this article is about the Respondus Quiz Authoring tool, a U of A supported application for managing and constructing quizzes that is for instructor use only. If you are a student required to use Respondus Lockdown Browser as an exam security measure, please see Using Respondus LockDown Browser (for Students). The installation file for the Respondus 4.0 quiz authoring tool is available for faculty and can be downloaded (for Windows only) from the following url: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FdGvt_oUagwFGhXg9aUU2U5AblT3-m_s/view?usp=sharing You will need to sign in to your UAlberta google account to access this file. Please do not download the program directly from the Respondus web site as it will not be pre-configured to connect to eClass at the U of A. You will require an installation password to install and run the software. You can obtain this password by emailing us at eclass@ualberta.ca. For instructions on using the tool, please see here for the vendor documentation. This program does not have a Mac version. | |
