You can create an eClass sandbox course using eClass' automatic course request system.

To create a sandbox:

1. Visit the eClass Course Request System to get started.
   
   
2. Alternatively, to access the eClass Course Request System:
   
   1. Navigate to the U of A home page, click the magnifying glass icon at top right () and click the eClass link under "Quick Links".
      
      
      
      
   2. Then, click on the Request your course in eClass button underneath the heading 'Instructors' in the left hand column.
      
      
3. If you have not already authenticated to any U of A service using your CCID and password, you will be redirected to the standard login page. Enter your CCID and password and click Login to continue.
   
   
   
   
4. Next click on Request a Course.
   
   
   
   
5. Then, click on the Sandbox course tile and click Next:
   
   
   
   
6. Check the box to confirm 'I want to create my Sandbox' and click Finish to create the course request. You will receive an email with a link to the course once it is created.
