At the request of the Faculty of Nursing, the eClass team added a site-wide block making it easy for instructors to add links to general U of A policies into their courses. The block can also be configured to have a section with policies pertaining to the specific faculty or program where a course is offered. The block is available as a standard right-side block to be added into courses. 

To add the U of A Policies block to your course:

1. Toggle the Edit mode button ON at the top right corner.
   
   
   
   
2. Then, scroll down to the bottom of the Block Drawer on the right. (Note: If the Block Drawer is closed, you will have to first open it by clicking on the arrow as shown below.)
   Once that is done, click on the Add a Block button. Find and select U of A Policies. 
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. The page will refresh with the policies block now showing at the very bottom of the right-hand side column. You may move it up or down using the arrows.  
   
   
   
   
4. Any custom links specific to a faculty or department will appear under a sub-heading at the bottom of the block. Custom links must be added by eClass system administrators in the block configuration and would appear for all courses in a given course category.
