Attention eClass Users,

Please be aware that in July 2015, we will be performing a major version upgrade to eClass. This upgrade will introduce major functional and usability improvements to the gradebook and quiz as well as a large number of feature improvements across the site.

The upgrade will require a full system outage, which has been scheduled for Saturday, July 4th 2015.

The main system features that will change in the new version of eClass are listed below.

Attention eClassLive users,

Please be aware that the eClassLive service will require a regularly-scheduled, weekly outage that will be performed every Saturday morning from 5:00 - 7:00AM. This weekly maintenance is required to keep the database functioning at optimal performance levels and will commence Saturday, May 2nd 2015.

eClassLive will be unavailable every week during this outage window so instructors should not schedule any teaching or learning activities Saturday mornings from 5:00

Attention eClass users,

Please be aware that there will be an eClass maintenance outage Sunday, May 3rd 12:00AM - 9:00AM (midnight to 9AM Sunday morning). This outage is required to update hosting provider infrastructure and perform database maintenance.

Both eClass and eClassLive will be unavailable during this outage window so instructors should not schedule any teaching or learning activities.

Attention eClass users,

Please be aware that starting on April 20th 2015, the ‘Export to Portfolio’ feature in eClass will be disabled. Unfortunately, this feature is not compatible with upcoming changes to the Google drive API that will be implemented on April 20th.

This feature will be disabled temporarily until it can be restored in our next major eClass upgrade. In the interim, users will be limited to copying and pasting content in order to extract forum posts from eClass.

Please be aware that eClassLive service requires emergency database maintenance which will be performed Monday March 16th 2015, 3:30 - 4:30PM.

eClassLive users may experience a slight degradation of service during this maintenance window. This maintenance will only affect eClassLive and the eClass service will not be affected.
