UPDATE: eClass Infrastructure Slowdown Resolved

UPDATE: This issue has now been resolved.

 

 

Please be aware that eClass is currently experiencing infrastructure issues that are causing a system-wide slowdown. Users may experience difficulty logging into eClass and slow page load times. This issue began at approximately 9:30 AM while the eClass hosting provider was performing changes to the system infrastructure.

 

Our hosting provider is currently working on resolving this issue. Thank you for your patience while this issue is

eClass Maintenance Outage Saturday July 5th 6:00AM - 9:00AM

Attention eClass users,

 

Please be aware that there will be a maintenance outage on Saturday, July 5th, 2014 from 6:00AM to 9:00AM. This outage window will be used to apply some system updates and a minor application software upgrade to Moodle 2.6.3, which will resolve multiple known issues and add a few minor feature improvements to eClass. The system will be unavailable during this time so please do not schedule any teaching or learning activities.

eClass Incident Thursday June 26th 2014

Attention eClass Users,

 

eClass was offline for a short time in the evening of Thursday June 26th 2014 due to a hosting provider problem. Users were not able to access between roughly 5:45 - 6:30PM.

RESOLVED: eClass Font Display Problems on Chrome for Windows

Attention eClass Users, CTL has released a fix to the font display problems affecting Google Chrome users for Windows. All Chrome users should now see an improvement to the display of text on eClass. Any users who have implemented the previously posted Chrome workaround (enabling Direct-write in Chrome) should now reverse the change using the steps below. To disable Direct-write in Chrome:
  1. Enter the following url into the Chrome address bar:
chrome://flags/#enable-direct-write
