Attention eClass users,
Update at 11:15 AM, September 27: eClassLive (Adobe Connect) upgrade is completed. All eClassLive features should be restored at this time.
Update at 9:00 AM, September 27: The maintenance outage has been extended as the upgrade to eClassLive (Adobe Connect) is not yet complete. Users can access eClass without any problems but will not be able to access any eClassLive sessions or recordings at this time. IST staff are working to complete the upgrade.

RESOLVED: eClass Slow or Unavailable

Attention eClass Users,
THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED.
eClass is currently experiencing an unknown problem that is causing slow page load times. Users may experience difficulty logging into eClass and. CTL staff are working with our hosting provider to investigate and resolve the situation.

Welcome back everyone! You will notice that eClass was upgraded and has a new theme for Fall 2014. For a quick overview of the functional changes, please see the following videos.

Attention eClass Users, UPDATE: The eClass mail notification system is fuinctioning normally again. The eClass system is currently experiencing an issue with sending email notifications. This issue is affecting all notifications that would normally be sent from eClass to user’s email addresses including posts to subscribed forums, course Announcements, and assignment feedback alerts. CTL and the eClass hosting team have restarted the mail service and some users have begun receiving emails. Read more | |

Attention eClass Users, As part of IT consolidation on our campuses, effective immediately the CTL technical staff that support eClass Moodle (the U of A central Learning Management System) have changed their reporting to IST. Dear eClass users,
Please be aware that there is a scheduled maintenance outage on Saturday, July 26th, 2014 from 3:00AM to 10:00AM. This outage is required for our eClass hosting provider to update the eClass infrastructure. The system may be unavailable during this time so please do not schedule any teaching or learning activities.
