RESOLVED: iClicker Registration Issues September 5th 2017

Attention iClicker Users,

This issue was resolved September 7th 2017 at 7AM - students will now see their clicker ID when accessing the registration activity in eClass.

An issue is affecting the iClicker registration activity in eClass. This bug is preventing students from verifying which clicker ID they have registered, even though they have correctly registered their clickers.

When students register an iClicker they will encounter the following behaviour: nothing appears to happen initially (they are returned to the same screen), after which when they re-enter their ID, they will receive a message stating ‘Error writing to database’. Later attempts to access the registration page will appear as though the registration process has not taken place.

Users who encounter this issue should rest assured that their initial registration will be captured by the system and visible to instructors.
