eClass underwent a major upgrade in June 2018 that included a number of improvements and visual changes. The major changes that will impact instructors and students in Fall 2018 are listed below.

For all users:

• The eClass theme has been completely overhauled and numerous usability improvements have been made to streamline the look and feel of the site. User tours are embedded throughout the site to illustrate the new interface in place.
• Personal message and notification menus are now easily accessible from top navigation bar.
• A new design and new features have been added to the Calendar.

For instructors:

• The Syllabus Creation Tool has been updated and is now available across the site.
• The ‘Participants’ area has been merged with the ‘Enrolled users’ area to offer improved functionality in a single location.
• Instructors & Designers can now hide content from the course main page but still allow students to access/use it when linked (replaces orphaned content).
• For new users, the eClass 101 self-guided training course has been redesigned and all video content updated for the new version of eClass.
