Attention eClass Users,

Welcome back! With this fall term set to be fully online for most courses, the eClass team has been preparing through the summer to support instructors and learners as they return to classes. Here are some important reminders for students and instructors:  

• New instructors should review our overview article for moving their courses online.
• Students should ensure they are ready to participate in online courses. 

In addition, we would also like to announce some important updates for eClass and other online delivery tools for Fall 2020:

• New Library Reading Lists: Instructors can now integrate library reading lists directly into their eClass courses.
• eClass Forums Grading: In our annual eClass Upgrade, we released some new grading options for forum activities in eClass.
• New Media Streaming options: Instructors can now use the media service Stream2 to record and upload/embed media in eClass courses.
• New Assessment Delivery options: Instructors can now use the Assign 2 service to create, manage, and grade paper assignments digitally. This allows students to download, complete, and re-upload paper assignments as images to digitally show their work. 
• New Remote Proctoring options: As part of our service options for delivering remote exams, instructors now have free access to Smart Exam Monitor to remotely proctor their exams.
