Attention eClass Users,

With the start of the midterm exam period, we would like to remind instructors to review the available options for delivering exams remotely. Of particular note, instructors should make sure they are familiar with the available mechanisms to provide exam accommodations for students.

New this fall, we also have some important updates that you should be aware of:

• We have released a new workflow in Smart Exam Monitor (SEM) that increases the protections around exam delivery by forcing students into a full-screen view and catching any exits from this view.
• The automated flagging of exam attempts in SEM has been improved substantially and we have designated default monitoring profiles based on each assessment type.
• Instructors using Assign2 can now pair their assessments directly with SEM sessions to deliver monitored midterms and finals.
• Instructors can now also link ExamLock quiz attempts with SEM Monitoring sessions.
