Attention eClass Users,

With the start of the Winter 2021 midterm exam period, we would like to remind instructors to review the available options for delivering exams remotely. Of particular note, instructors should make sure they are familiar with the available mechanisms to provide exam accommodations for students.

Instructors using ExamLock should take special note that the security measures in ExamLock have been increased so that banned applications are now closed automatically when students launch their attempts. Instructors pairing ExamLock with SEM now have a specific setting to allow the programs to work together.

Last, instructors are encouraged to complete this form to advise us in advance of any remote exams they have scheduled.

We also have 2 important support updates for Winter 2021:

• As per this announcement, the eClass team will be extending our support hours from 8:30AM through 9PM weekdays starting February 1st, 2021.
• Instructors should bookmark the new eClass status page which will be updated with timely information in case of any disruptions during exams.
