Attention ExamLock Users,

Please be advised that the ExamLock service will be decommissioned on December 31st, 2025.

With the transition to Canvas, the UofA has selected Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor as our new remote exam security and monitoring application to replace ExamLock. Instructors using Canvas will need to switch to this new application when delivering remote exams. 

Since eClass has entered a read-only state, there should be no active exams being delivered on eClass but ExamLock will remain available for the Fall 2025 term for any deferred exams or special circumstances.
