eClass Scheduled Course Archiving 2019

Attention eClass users, We have an important announcement that may impact your courses on eClass. The annual scheduled archiving of credit courses for this year has been planned for May 27th, 2019. This process, described in more detail here, mandates that credit courses can only remain on eClass for a maximum duration of four years. Major eClass Upgrade June 2019 - Upcoming Changes

Attention eClass Users, Please be aware that in June 2019, we will be performing a major version upgrade to eClass. This upgrade will introduce a variety of bug fixes and feature improvements across the site. The upgrade will require a full system outage, which has been scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd 2019 from 12:00AM until Sunday June 23rd at 11:59PM (48 hours). Students’ Union eClass Usage Survey

In collaboration with IST and the Centre for Teaching and Learning, the SU is running a survey to obtain a student perspective on how eClass is being used and how well it is meeting student needs. The data collected from this survey will help IST's eClass Support team improve the system and inform any future initiatives to make changes to the service. The survey is open to all students at the University of Alberta. It should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Read more | |

Attention eClass Users, RESOLVED: February 15th, 10:45AM - eClass developers and our hosting provider determined the cause of the issue and repaired it. Forum post emails are now processing correctly and have begun being sent to users. It may take several hours for all the messages accumulated over the interruption period to be mailed out. UPDATE: eClass is now available - the maintenance outage was completed early and the site was released on January 5th 2019 at 8:00AM. This is a reminder that there will be a scheduled maintenance outage for eClass from Saturday January 5th, 2019 12:00AM through Sunday January 6th, 2019 11:59PM.
