UPDATE: The maintenance outage was completed early and eClass was released at 8:20AM.

There is a scheduled maintenance outage for eClass on Saturday August 22nd 2020 from 12:00AM - 11:59PM. This outage is required to perform infrastructure maintenance and minor updates prior to Fall term.

Attention eClass Users,

This message is to announce that the synchronous lecture and recording tool eClassLive (Adobe Connect) will be decommissioned on January 2nd, 2021. After this date, users will no longer be able to access Adobe Connect to host meetings or deliver online courses. IST is currently investigating the possibility of providing archived copies of Adobe Connect recordings to content owners, with details to follow as they become available.

Updated February 2021: due to the delayed start to the Winter 2021 term, the annual eClass major version upgrade will no longer take place during the May outage window. The upgrade will instead take place on June 26th, 2021.

eClass requires regularly scheduled outages to perform necessary updates and maintenance on specific dates designed to minimize the impact on the majority of users.

Please be aware that there will be a brief eClass outage on Wednesday July 1st, 2020 from 12:00AM (Midnight) until 12:15AM. We are using this brief outage to deploy required changes for the launch of the new eClass Course Creation system.
