There will be a brief eClass outage on Wednesday September 2nd 2020 from 12:00AM (Midnight) until 1:00AM (MST). This outage is required by our hosting team to release a permanent infrastructure fix to address the performance issues impacting eClass today.

eClass and eClassLive will be unavailable throughout the maintenance window.

Attention Zoom users,

For the start of the Fall 2020 term, we will be releasing some configuration changes to Zoom at the University of Alberta. Starting Monday August 31st, 2020 the following changes will be enabled in Zoom: 

• Meeting Passcodes will be required when scheduling a meeting. This should not impact students accessing course meetings through eClass as meeting links in the integration will allow the user to join directly with 1-click access. This change is required because Zoom

Update: The hosting team diagnosed a configuration problem that has now been resolved. As of 11:00AM August 25th, all announcement forum post emails are now sending successfully. Please note that messages that failed to send will not be re-processed so instructors who ran into issues should reply to their own post to trigger a new mail out and/or advise students to ensure they check the Announcement forum in the course.
