Attention Canvas Users,

With spring 2026 finally arriving, a number of new features are being launched within Canvas and across the Digital Learning Environment.

New features in Canvas

• The Google Gemini LTI integration is now available.
• The SensusAccess accessibility toolkit has been expanded to include content in Group Forums and Course Announcements.
• DLE Developers have completed another round of improvements on the Exam Digitizer, a tool that can convert MS-word based exam questions into Canvas compatible QTI files for import.

Other Service Changes

• Respondus LockDown Browser has released a new second camera feature in Monitor to increase exam security.
• Edufide has released updates to both Assign2 and SEM (Smart Exam Monitor). SEM Version 1 has been officially decommissioned by the vendor.
