eClass Maintenance Outage February 17th 11-11:59PM

Attention eClass users,

This is an alert that there will be a maintenance outage for eClass on Wednesday February 17th 2021 from 11:00 PM - 11:59 PM. This outage is required to perform a minor version update and apply bug fixes to eClass. 

Please note that while we have booked a 1 hour maintenance window, eClass will be available as soon as the required changes are complete. We will be sending an additional announcement once access to eClass has been restored.

Midterm Exam Delivery Update

Attention eClass Users,

With the start of the Winter 2021 midterm exam period, we would like to remind instructors to review the available options for delivering exams remotely. Of particular note, instructors should make sure they are familiar with the available mechanisms to provide exam accommodations for students.

Instructors using ExamLock should take special note that the security measures in ExamLock have been increased so that banned applications are now closed automatically

Winter 2021 eClass Support Extended Hours

Attention eClass Instructors and Users,

Effective Monday February 1st and continuing through April 30th, 2021, eClass will be extending their email and phone support hours to 8:30AM to 9:00PM Monday through Friday (except over the spring break week). This change is to support midterm examinations that are offered weekday evenings to accommodate consolidated classes and for students in different time zones.

ExamLock Outage Jan. 7th 2021 9:00PM - 11:59PM

Attention ExamLock users,

There will be a brief outage for ExamLock on Thursday January 7th, 2021 from 9:00PM - 11:59PM. This outage is required to release an update to the ExamLock service in advance of the Winter 2021 term.

ExamLock will be unavailable for the duration of this outage, but access to eClass will not be impacted.

UPDATE: The maintenance outage was completed early and eClass was released at 12:40PM.

 

Attention eClass Users,

This is a reminder that there will be a scheduled maintenance outage for eClass Saturday January 2nd 2021 from 12:00AM to 11:59PM. This outage is required to perform infrastructure maintenance and an update to eClass.

The updates to eClass during this outage will include the following changes:

  • eClass will receive a minor version upgrade containing a number of minor bug fixes
