UPDATED: eClass Assignment Grading Problems FIXED

UPDATE: As of 10:00AM we have applied a fix to the PDF viewer to restore functionality. Please contact eclass@ualberta.ca if you experience any further issues with the PDF viewer.

Attention eClass Instructors,

The inline document converter in the eClass assignment is currently not functioning. We have reported the problem to the infrastructure team and they are investigating.

We will provide updates as soon as we know more.

In the interim, instructors can still grade file submissions

Attention eClass Users,

UPDATE: The emergency outage has been completed and infrastructure improvements applied. eClass was released at 11:30PM.

There will be an emergency outage Monday December 20th, 2021 from 11:00PM - 12:00AM (midnight). This outage is required to run diagnostics and increase system resources.

eClass will be unavailable during this outage window so students still studying for exams should make arrangements to access outside of this time period.

eClass Connectivity Issues Wednesday December 15th 2021

Attention eClass Users,

Some users reported intermittent connectivity issues when accessing eClass this morning. Amazon Web Services, eClass’ hosting provider, identified connectivity issues at 8:42AM and implemented a fix starting at 9:01AM. Access to eClass should now be fully restored.

We understand how crucial this issue is to users with scheduled exams this morning and our teams are doing everything we can to monitor connectivity to minimize further disruption to campus.
